We highly recommend you start out with Barre or Barre Bootcamp classes. They are very similar with the exception that Bootcamp incorporates several low impact cardio portions. Both of these formats will give you the foundation and attention to form that you will need to build out for more challenging classes like Barre Tabata and Barre Fire. Those are considered Intermediate to Advanced.
Ugi, Buti, and FiitFire are open to all levels, as modifications will be given throughout. None of these classes are easy, but you can tailor it to meet your needs.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES? Simply log into mindbodyonline.com and search for The Barre. Once you find us, log in or create a log in (if you never have before). From there you will click on “ online store” and be able to see all the classes and purchase packages.
After that, search the app store for The Barre at Berry Farms. Quick and easy, this is the best way to quickly sign up for classes once you have registered online!
WHAT DO I WEAR TO CLASS? We recommend you wear fitted workout attire, so we can watch your form. BarreAmped is a form-focused method and we watch closely to make sure alignment and posture are maintained so you can get the most from your workout. Long leggings, yoga pants or cropped pants and a fitted tank top are ideal. We do not have a dress code, these are just suggestions.
WHAT FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED? We recommend non-skid socks (toe socks), but you can also participate barefoot. We leave the option to the client to allow for your own comfort. ToeSox are available in studio in a variety of colors and sizes.
WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS? Nothing is required, but water is recommended and some clients like to bring a small hand towel.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO COME TO CLASS A WEEK TO GET THE BEST RESULTS? For the best results attending 3-4 classes per week is optimal. We also recommend mixing and matching your classes for optimum results. Try a combination of BarreAmped and FiitFire or other cardio classes once you’ve achieved a strong mind body connection.
WHAT IS THE POLICY ON SIGNING UP FOR CLASSES & DROP-INS? We do not require your visit to be reserved online, but we do recommend it. This allows your spot to be reserved in the class because they fill up quickly. To sign up for classes CLICK HERE.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? We have a 4-hour cancellation policy when you’ve reserved a space in class. This means if you do not cancel your class 4 hours prior to the start of the class, you will be charged $5. We know emergencies do come up and therefore allow one no show a month to members. Make sure you email us at info@thebarrefranklin by the end of the business day to avoid being charged.
HOW DO I CANCEL A RESERVATION? Sign on to our Mindbody website where you reserved your class space, login to your account and select “My Info” and then select “My Schedule.” This will allow you to select the class you would like to cancel.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE TO CLASS? If you are late to class and there is a waiting list, your spot will be given to someone else that is waiting in the studio. So please be on time and try to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class. Once the sliding studio door is shut, no one is allowed to walk in.
WHAT IF I HAVEN'T WORKED OUT IN A REALLY LONG TIME OR AM OVERWEIGHT? BarreAmped classes are taught to all fitness levels. Clients are offered modifications and options in each exercise and receive hands on adjustments and detailed guidance throughout class. Come as you are! We are here for you! We cheer you on. There are modifications available for all ages and fitness levels including expecting moms.
WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT OR HAVE A SPECIFIC INJURY? Our instructors are trained in both pre and postnatal fitness as well as injury prevention and modifications. Please let them know ahead of time of your specific health concerns so they can guide you through tactile corrections and modifications.
WHERE DO I PARK? You may park in the store front spaces directly in front of our studio if available, otherwise please pull around behind the building and park in the lot next to the bank.
